AMATEUR COMPETITION RULES

• 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM TX State Championship
• 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Business Challenge
• 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Adult Teams
• 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Family Teams
• 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM Youth 12 & under
• 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM Youth 13-17

Registration tent opens at 8am on Saturday Oct. 22, 2005.

1. An announcement will be made at each category's start time.
   No shoveling or digging in advance of your appointed time or you may be disqualified.
2. The event coordinator will be the timekeeper. Please follow the clock at the registration table if the coordinator is not available.
3. You must provide your own tools, supplies, forms, food, beverages, shade and unscreen for your team.
4. Sculptures should be carved in the round. Forms are allowed, but all forms must be carved.
5. No artificial coloring, machinery or decorations allowed.
6. Un-sportsman like behavior will not be tolerated. Any violators will be disqualified and/or requested to leave.
7. Please keep your area safe for everyone and clean your area upon finishing. Keep personal items out of public aisles.
8. Judging begins at 4:00 pm. Awards presentation to follow for 1st-3rd place winners.
